Image
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR WINCC MIGRATION For up-gradation of wincc from one version to another, we have to follow in between version migration steps as below: For Example: Migration from V5.0 to V7.5 requires migration from V5.0 to V6.2 then to V7.2 and Finally to V7.5 For Migration we use CCMigrator tool with the standard process as per the wincc migration document. CCMigrator tool can be found in Simatic----Wincc----Tools-----Project Migrator. Below are basic screenshots: IMPORTANT POINTS  1. In license update packages of CS and RT includes option redundancy, user archive and server license      upgrade. 2. Till Wincc V7.0, we can use Wincc project migrator but with wincc V7.2 use wincc explorer--                 convert project data option. screenshot as below: Note: This blog is only for educational purpose only. Please use standard references for any                                       implementation.
